Larry Harley's Forge

This not so great picture shows Larry's beast of a forge. This thing is huge and it gets H-O-T hot! Larry has his forge set up with analog pyrometer and an auto-ignition system. The interior is lined with Inswool with a top-coat of Satanite and ITC-100. In addition, Larry lines the forge body itself with ITC-213 to add an additional layer of refractory. The next time I go up for a visit with Larry I'll take more and detailed pictures of his forge and update this page with all of the details!

Not shown in the picture is his Little Giant mechanical hammer which is situated to the left of the forge. Larry Harley is an extremely talented bladesmith and pretty nice guy indeed.
