Mike Sweany's Forges

This is Sweany's heat treat forge. The flame comes in under the shelf, and up the sides of the shelf. The 5/8" mullite shelf gets cherry red after a while. Doors are forthcoming. Sweany covered the Ceramic Fiber Blanket with the ITC-100 and used a high alumina kiln wash on top of the ITC-100.
