Salt Tubes for Heat Treating Applications We are now carrying stainless steel salt tubes for those who want to utilize one of the best methods available for heat treating. These tubes are offered in both a kit form as well as a fully welded salt tube ready for your heat treating forge. These are 4" I.D. sch. 40 x 24 inches or 40 inches long (+/- 0.25"). We decided to sell the kit form as some of you likely have the equipment necessary in your shop to weld the base plate on to the tube, but sourcing small quantities of Stainless pipe and plate can be difficult and expensive. If you have the ability to do the welding yourself or can pay off the local welder with a case of beer, then you can save some money by ordering the kit! :) Welded salt tubes and kits will take 14 days to be shipped after your order is placed, currently we build these as ordered. - 24" Salt Tube Kit = $297.00 - 24" Welded Salt Tube = $347.00 - 40" Salt Tube Kit = $495.00 - 40" Welded Salt Tube = $545.00 For Custom Lengths, please send us an email for pricing. |
