A view of some of my
grinders. Pictured here is a KMG grinder with a 2
h.p. variable speed motor
and controller and a
Grizzly grinder.
|

Another view of
the grinding area showing the side view of my Beaumont horizontal
grinder and KMG grinders. All grinders are set up with variable
frequency drives (VFD) and three phase motors.
|

Back view of the grinding area showing the KMG
grinders, drill presses, and vertical disc
grinder.

Another random view of the grinding
area.

grinder.

Two Flat plat disc
grinders set up in the horizontal position and run with variable
speed DC drives/motors.

Large contact wheels,
epoxies, vibrating sanders.

Selection of contact
wheels, lil-sharpie sharpening grinder,
micro-mill, and small arbor press.

Rotary platen, machinist
plates, mill tools, and vise.

Grinding belts, vibrating
sanders set up with micarta pads, vise and steel.

Sandpaper and
tunes!
|

Main assembly bench..it's a mess rightnow...though,
it usually isn't! Desktop computer for CAD work, surfing the net
while taking a break and for streaming music from the
Internet to the stereo pictured to the left.
|

The other side of the
shop. Pictured here you can see my table saw with Incra fench,
Planer, Jointer to the left, wood bandsaw, welding bench, and a
forge ready to
ship.
|

Welding bench, chop saw, welder, and a batch of 6"
horizontal forges in process.
|

Welding bench and large vertical
forge.
|

Variable speed
buffer. I built the controller and set it up with a 2 h.p. variable speed DC
motor.
|

View from the entrance to the shop. The blue
tarp curtains enclose my grinding area. The tarp along
with dust collectors keep the metal grinding dust contained to the grinding
area surprisingly well!
|

Table saw and small forge with forced air
burner.
|

Micro-mill and arbor press.
|

Liquid notrogen dewar for
cryogenic treatment of tool steels.
|

Forge, 500 pound Fisher
anvil, welder and a lot of mess! It isn't usually this messy out
there!
|

One of my 20 Ton hydraulic
presses.
|

Air Hammer. This one
pictured isn't mine. We are building 5 of them and this is the
first one to be finished. Mine is due to be completed
soon! These hammers feature an 85 pound head weight and
run from a 2 1/2" hydraulic cylinder that is converted for
air. |

Tool boxes,
constant temperature oven, and small
heat treating oven.

Porta-band set up with a table
